Inspired by her own last-minute Mayan wedding ceremony in Mexico just 3 months after our founder Lydia (pictured) and her partner met, she sketched the very first LMK engagement ring on the back of an envelope.
She wanted to create an heirloom to remind them of that day - something beautiful to serve as as a time-machine of their youth.

A professional background in corporate mining helped with making those first connections within the diamond industry, and LMK was born. Today, Lydia creates her unique designs in London before they are handcrafted by specialist artisans using ethically sourced, premium materials.
